Purpose of the Event
- Formally announce mentor-mentee pairings
- Establish expectations and program norms
- Build immediate community and rapport
What to Expect:
We want to keep the evening structured but highly social. Our 60-minute agenda include:
- Welcome & Program Overview: A brief walk-through of the timeline, monthly expectations, and support resources.
- The Big Reveal: We will be doing a physical envelope reveal alongside a slideshow on the TV to formally announce each mentor-mentee pairing!
- Breakout Time: You will have 10–15 minutes to sit down with your partner, grab food, and find a few shared goals.
- Next Steps & Gift Cards: We’ll outline our accountability milestones—including the gift cards distribution for your initial 1:1 meeting!
