MRI: Clinical Updates and Practical Physics

This activity is a 4-day course for practicing Radiologists and Magnetic Resonance technologists. The conference will focus on new strategies to correctly interpret common MRI exams, recognize image quality issues, and execute strategies to correct them. In addition, this course will review the underlying principles of MR physics and image protocol decisions with colleagues to improve team efficiency.

Registration

You can register to attend all 4 days, the weekend only (Saturday and Sunday), or the weekday only (Monday and Tuesday).

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (22.50 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (22.50 hours)
 

1. Discuss the meaning of core MRI system component specifications and how they impact sequence parameters.
2. Differentiate the parts of pulse sequences and their relationships to image contrasts, SNR, and scan time. 
3. Interpret the meaning of the resulting images of a diffuse liver disease MRI.
4. Develop skills for obtaining optimal fat suppression.
5. Develop strategies for improving diffusion-weighted image quality and MR elastography images.
