The Chocolate Heads Project 2026–2027: Oceanic Body
What would it mean to dance the ocean? This year, the Chocolate Heads Movement Band will treat the ocean as a co-choreographer, learning from oceanic dance practitioners to develop an original choreographic language for the ocean's depths—suspension, buoyancy, sinking, and swell. Together we'll stage the electric tension between the grounded earth-body and the fluid water-body, discovering how it feels to move with a liquid fluency. Dancers, visual artists, musicians, dreamers, and free thinkers of all dance backgrounds & levels are welcome. Join us in an epic, super-natural, and collaborative experience.
