Join us at this fun-filled event to kick off SHS programming for the new academic year. President Emeritus Richard Saller will give a presentation titled “Academic Freedom and Free Speech at Stanford and the University of Chicago.”
The event will also feature:
• Exhibits from the Stanford Archives
• Historical Stanford memorabilia
• Reception
The event will be held at a historic campus house designed by renowned architect William Wurster, the Bay Area native best known for his residential designs in California. Details of the location and directions will be emailed by October 9, 2026.
