A close friend of mine has a room available in his 2 bedroom/1 bath Mountain View apartment starting August 15th. The room is ~130 square feet, plus a walk-in closet. The rent would be $1200.month plus internet/utilities, which usually come out to ~$60/month.

You'll be sharing the apartment with two roommates, but will have your own room.

The apartment is located 5 miles from the Stanford campus and 1.5 miles from Downtown Mountain View. The least would be month to month, although a longer term stay is preferred.
