Spacious Master Bedroom and connected Bathroom available mid to end of October 2018 for a one year lease (and with option to stay another year at the end of the first year) - negotiable move-in date, but aiming for end of October.

This is a 2 bedroom / 2 bath condominium in Palo Alto near University Avenue at Woodland Creek Condominiums. I am renting this from the lovely and kind owner who has left it furnished while she attends graduate school out of state. The apartment is fully furnished including cookware and small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, etc.) and a grill on the balcony. You would have the option of bringing in your own bed or using the existing queen size mattress. You would have your own bathroom and two spacious closets.

The second floor unit has a balcony that overlooks a creek with trees and while it is close to 101 freeway, you don’t hear any traffic and the unit feels rural and private because of its facing view to the creek.

The condo is in a calm, safe area on the west side of 101. It is super convenient: bordering Palo Alto/East Palo Alto between University and Embarcadero, just a few minutes from downtown Palo Alto and easily walkable/bikeable to downtown Palo Alto & Stanford University (1.5 miles away). Google and Facebook are cycling distance as well. There is a good dog park nearby, The Market grocery store (https://www.marketatedgewood.com/), Chase bank, Starbucks, and Palo Alto Orange Theory workout studio very nearby in Edgewood Plaza and IKEA, Nordstrom Rack, and Home Depot are just over the freeway overpass.

We can negotiate the rent/utilities break-down a bit more if you are moving in as a couple/using more of the space/utilities
Utilities are: Xfinity internet $60/month; PG&E is about $30/month; Water and trash removal about $50, DishTV $60 (we can decide to keep or not keep the DishTV service). Currently, splitting utilities monthly comes to about $100 each.

This would be great for a down-to-earth professional, student(s), or a responsible couple who can be trusted with the landlord’s home and furnishings. Dogs OK but no cats (allergies). No smokers (not even occasional or social smokers), no drugs!

About me: I am a 30's professional woman who is finishing her PhD with a 5 year old hypoallergenic Portuguese Water Dog named Mopsy, who is the light of my life and my shadow. We love our dog walks, exercise, and quiet reading time to relax when we are not working.
