Hello! We are three roommates, looking for a roommate or couple to take over a room + office + full bathroom in our wonderful home in Burlingame. The house is a 3,600 sqft, 6bed, 4bath (+ separate pool house in the backyard). Recently remodeled with many bonus features, it’s a beautiful home that we feel lucky to live in.

About the home:

• Your area: 2 unfurnished rooms + 1 full private bathroom. One room is a comfortable bedroom with ample closet space, the other is the best-lit room in the house and perfect for a large office or extra room.
• Rent: $1666 for a single person, $2000 for a couple. Rent includes both rooms + bathroom. Utilities are additional and split evenly, usually ~$150/mo, per person. The deposit is $3200.
• Move-in date: Somewhere between now - Aug 1. You will be added to the lease (subject to approval by landlord) that runs until March 2022.
• Pets: not allowed on the lease, sadly.
• Common spaces: huge living room facing south, medium living room (aka the reading room), big kitchen with fancy appliances, dining room, bonus exercise room. We have a nice backyard with a grill, basketball hoop, pool / hot-tub(!), and oak tree. Great space to chill or wfh. There is no garage, but parking is super easy on the street + driveway.
• Surrounding area: we are a ~10-min walk away from downtown Burlingame and the Caltrain station. There are a lot of amenities within walking distance (pool, library, park, bakery, restaurants, bay trail, etc.)

About us:

We are a group of friends who often cook together, go out (pre/post?! covid), and complain about existence. We’re looking for someone to join us in life’s adventures. We also usually share/split some groceries and house items.
• I (me! - he/him - 29): I'm from NY, but have now lived in the Bay for over 10 years. I run a small software company working with universities and academic researchers. I'm a runner, love to cook, and have friends over for dinner.
• K (she/her - 30): K grew up in Iran, and came to the US for grad school 8 years ago. K is an architect and works at an urban tech company. K and I are a couple and are avid backpackers. K also enjoys riding (motorcycles and bicycles), long walks, and ocean-related activities.
• M (he/him - 30): M is a chemist, originally from SLC. M and I have lived together since college. He loves video games, sports, consuming media of all kinds, and collecting stupid kitchen appliances.
